The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will lead the policy on the sustainable use of renewable natural resources. In the legislative work, the ministry acts as part of the Finnish Government and the decision-making process of the European Union. The staff at the Ministry is about 250. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is located in a building built in the 1840's in Hallituskatu 3 in Helsinki's Kruununhaka district.
The planning of the 2300 m2 area renovation of the property was started in 2009 and Hepacon was responsible for the HVAC, electrical and building automation design of the site. The renovation was completed in 2011.
