Puu-Käpylä Wooden House District
Helsingin kaupungin asunnot Oy

Puu-Käpylä is a wooden garden city district in Helsinki, built in the early 1920's. Back in the days, the focus in design was not in the building services engineering.

In co-operation with Heka-Kansanasunnot Oy, Hepacon has brought the HVAC technology up to modern standards. Including basic renovation, Hepacon has designed area monitoring system to make the controlling of buildings easier. Puu-Vallila, which was done in co-operation with Heka-Vallila Oy, is a very similar project to Puu-Käpylä.
