Tampere Hall
Tampereen kaupunki

The Tampere Hall is the largest concert and congress center in the Nordic countries. The house built in 1990 has a floor area of 30,000 m2.

Various facilities at the Tampere Hall, such as concerts, meeting and fairs, banquets and restaurants, have set up very exceptional requirements for the building services design. After the completion, the premises have also been substantially renewed and expanded, and new events and meeting facilities as well as restaurants have been added. The Moomin Museum of the Tampere Art Museum opened in the Tampere Hall in June 2017.

Hepacon has worked as HVAC and building automation designer since 2014. The property's heating system has been refurbished and the cooling system has been renewed to take advantage of the district cooling. Acoustically demanding auditoriums and restaurant facilities have been renewed and expanded in the existing premises of the building and in its extension. Hepacon's special expertise in the design of condition-controlled spaces has also been indispensable. The requirements set by the Moomin Museum for the indoor climate at Tampere Hall are in line with the requirements of other art museums and Hepacon has solid evidence of the design of this type of spaces.

Cooperation with the Tampere Hall continues. In the next step, the old ventilation machines will be replaced and Hepacon will also be responsible for the HVAC and building automation planning of this phase.
